Have you been scolded

In today's reading we come to notice that Jesus scolded a special group people. He scolded them not once or twice but he went about it 8 times. Have you been scolded 8 times by anyone in a space of few minutes? But this special group of people are by no mean ordinary people, in fact they are the religious leaders who are supposed to know their Holy Bible well.

In a nutshell, tragically these religious leaders have turned a wonderful relationship with God into a mere legalistic religion.

Let this passage today be a mirror for us to examine ourselves. Are we following a religion on a path of hatred & conflict or are we having a meaningful personal walk with God living in peace & love?
