Chinese New Year is just a stone throw away & we are talking about next weekend. Many of our tenants have made or are about to make their way back to China to have their family reunion,to see their parents & friends & to celebrate together this festive season. Come to think of it, this will be my 8th consecutive Chinese New Year in a foreign land, missing all the excitement at home, not to mention the delicious food from all my sisters who happen to be great cooks. Lord willing, we will make it home for summer holiday.
Coming back to today's devotion about "Take time to find God " I can't help thinking about the recent global economic downturn and the impending hardships upon many. Already news of people being retrenched from work are coming fast & furious. But I hope in the midst of the difficult times ahead, attention will also be drawn to God for comfort & for direction. God cares about everyone of us. He made us in His own image & likeness.
Taking time to find God? Well, I have good news for you. You needn't have to go far. As a matter of fact God Himself has been searching for you. Let Him come into your life, let Him be in the driving seat of your life and you will never be the same. He will take you through the storm!
